In his own description, Abdul Rahim is a silicon photonics evangelist. A 15-year veteran of the industry, with experience in CMOS photonics and electronics positions in both industry and academia across Europe, Asia and North America, Rahim has a particular interest in the evolving supply chain model required to keep adequate pace with the development of new materials, chips and thin-film chiplets within silicon photonics.
