Desktop R2P NanoImprinter

Stensborg has launched the Desktop R2P NanoImprinter. The new version of the roller-based prototyping tool provides customers with an improved optical engine, greater ability to explore new UV-curing resins, and overall better control of the imprinting process.

These improvements enable users to have a better experience of fast prototyping and testing for NIL process development. The machine’s uniqueness is further supported by two granted patents for the nip imprinting method and the optical curing engine within the tool.

To date, Stensborg has sold compact Roll-to-Plate (R2P) imprinting machines across three continents, totalling sales across fifteen countries. The clients range from academic institutions and government laboratories to the private sector in a host of different industries.

Like its predecessor, the Desktop R2P NanoImprinter is ideal for prototyping, small-scale imprinting and fast process development for micro/nanostructure based devices. The compact R2P machine has applications in many different fields, such as photonics, biomedical devices, solar energy, and augmented reality, among others.
