New back-illuminated APS CMOS area image sensor with high UV sensitivity

Introducing the new S16101 CMOS area image sensor, which has a back-illuminated structure and a 1280x1024 Active Pixel Sensor (APS) matrix.  The sensor incorporates a timing generator, amplifier and A/D converter.  The output signal is digital (LVDS) and it can reach a readout speed of 146 frames/s.  It is also possible to reduce the number of vertical pixels to further increase the readout speed, and is ideal for applications in the visible, UV and NIR spectrums.
