The women of the Photonics100 2025
While it would be nice to report that 2024 was the year that the Photonics100 broke the downward trend of representation of women among photonics innovators, the gender split for this year’s cohort sadly did not show an improvement in terms of diversity. Twenty women made it on to the 2025 list, down from 23 last year and 26 the year before that.
