Shapeable mirror found to improve x-ray microscopes

In collaboration with RIKEN and JTEC Corporation, a team of researchers in Japan has developed a flexible mirror that can be independently shaped, providing increased stability and atomic-level precision, improving the performance of X-ray microscopes.
