Edmund Optics has expanded its business into Mexico and South America, following the addition of two new distributors.
Edmund Optics has penned distribution agreements with the Brazilian company, Cidepe - Centro Industrial de Equipamentos de Ensino e Pesquisa Ltda, encompassing Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Columbia, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Uruguay, and Intecs Instrumentación S.A. de C.V. covering Mexico.
Both are well-known, established distributors in their respective venues, and will market products in the EO catalogue. Both companies will also offer technical support and conduct sales in local currency and language to their customers.
Allan Kreutzer, vice president of global sales, stated: 'Although we have been doing business and selling product in these areas, the time has come for us to develop a stronger presence in this growing marketplace.
