Supplier and distributor of opto-electronic components Laser Components has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for its processes, procedures and quality manual.
The company’s management expects the quality management system will deliver continual improvements in the way the firm’s staff manage the business, how they work proactively with partner suppliers, and how they contract review with customers.
In its announcement the company's statement says: ‘It is with great pleasure that we announce our ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. Following a focussed period last year to develop processes, procedures and our quality manual, BSI awarded our certification on 27 January 2012.’
Laser Components management are expecting the quality management system to help the company deliver right first time, quality products through continual improvement.
