FemtoFErb 780

Toptica's FemtoFErb 780 laser system delivers 50mW average power at 780nm centre wavelength, with a pulse duration of less than 100fs at a repetition rate of 100MHz.

Based on polarisation-maintaining Erbium-doped fibres and saturable absorber mirror (SAM) mode-locking technology, the all-fibre system features a compact SHG unit and comes with a free-beam output.

Toptica says the FemtoFErb 780's footprint of 202 x 122 x 69mm makes it the most compact fs-fiber laser commercially available. It also provides a suitable seeding source for Ti:Sapphire systems. In addition, it suits various applications in biophotonics, ranging from SHG microscopy to multi-photon excitation.

The FemtoFErb provides an electrical interface for remote control and only requires a 12V supply to drive all internal electronics. An optional SwitchBox provides all switches, supplies and status lines needed to run the laser as a standalone system.
