BFi Optilas has announced that it is now offering Ocean Optics' range of low cost spectrometers. The spectrometers feature an extended spectral range between ultraviolet and near-infrared, covering from 200nm to 1,050nm with a spectral resolution of 2nm.
This spectral range is available with both the USB and JAZ optical benches produced by Ocean Optics. A special grating has been developed to cover the full spectral range with very good efficiency. Additionally, the design of the JAZ spectrometer allows measurement in the field with a standalone ultra-compact unit.
