ZC&R Coatings for Optics and Abrisa Industrial Glass have introduced their LuxVu range, a new line of transparent conductive coatings produced by the two companies. The products combine glass fabrication, coatings, printing, and etching to provide efficient, high performance optical solutions. The new low reflectance, transparent conductive glass coatings and the anti-reflection coatings are available in several configurations for advanced display, imaging, and sensing devices.
The ZC&R-Abrisa LuxVu product line features high transmittance for a variety of conductance values from 5 to 600Ω-2, selected as required for each application. Standard and custom indium tin oxide (ITO) coatings are designed to be index-matched to air, liquid crystal, and optical adhesives. Wavelength bands are also optimised for the visible spectrum and near infrared, according to customer requirements. Applications for these advanced, durable coatings include external heated camera windows and liquid crystal-based polarisation control devices such as microdisplays.
High performance anti-reflection coatings are also developed for use in narrow and broadband designs for visible and infrared, and for ion-assisted deposition for environmental resistance requirements. Other transparent conductive glass solutions include integrated, durable bus bar for low profile deposited tri-metal applications and for precision-printed high temperature silver epoxy.
