Light Tec has introduced the Mini Diff, a small and affordable BRDF/BTDF measurement system.
It has the size of a one litre bottle and it measures the scattering distribution of the surface the user points at, in reflection or in transmission. The surface is lighted with four incident beams (0°, 20°, 40°, 60°). The measurement is completed in 10 seconds.
This system performs measurement with red illumination. In one minute, one can export data to any illumination design software via native format or via ASTM text format.
