Arden Phonics’ ModCon Mode Controller is a compact, lightweight module that modifies LED and VCSEL light sources to provide repeatable EF-compliant launch conditions.
Optimised for 850nm and 1,300nm, the ModCon Mode Controller works with all multi-mode fibre optic testers and improves measurement repeatability in multi-mode fibre tests. The device is EF-compliant to IEC 61280-4-1.
The ModCon increases the accuracy of measurements and enables better agreement between test data sets, providing a simple and certifiable way of complying with international standards.
