Toptica welcomed its new vice president of production & logistics at Toptica, Dr Mathias Schindler, who started on April 1st, 2017. He is the successor of Walter Kraus, who over many years has built up the Toptica production department, starting from humble beginnings to its present size and power, and who is going to retire within the next year.
Dr. Schindler earned his PhD in Electronics Engineering from the RWTH Aachen and he has worked in microelectronics, semiconductors and terahertz spectroscopy. He brings already 10 years of manufacturing experience acquired at a world-renowned manufacturer of high precision industrial measurement devices. At Toptica, Dr Schindler is challenged to guide the company to a new level of volume manufacturing competency, introducing modern production and planning tools and processes.
