SPI Lasers a global leader in the design and manufacture of Fiber Lasers announced today that it has appointed Zack Huang as its new General Manager for China.
Zack was previously SPI’s China Sales Director and replaces the outgoing General Manager, John Chinn who is pursuing new opportunities outside of SPI.
Zack will continue the hard work that had been started by John Chinn and will remain focused on developing SPI’s growth across the country whilst simultaneously ensuring customers are offered the very best levels of after sales service and support.
As well as his time out in the field with SPI, Zack brings a wealth of experience from a number of industries in both the US and China, including lasers and optical expertise, making him ideally suited to lead the future growth of SPI Lasers within China.
In his new role, Zack will report directly to SPI Lasers’ CEO Dr Thomas Fehn, who stated:
“Over the last 5 years John has done a great job in setting up and growing the company, but as China continues to play a vital role in our expansion it is evident that such a crucial position requires a person with a strong Chinese background and experience to fully deliver on our strategy, of offering customers high quality products, backed by the very best levels of service and support.
Moving Zack from his Sales Director role to General Manager of China is key in establishing a business that is culturally relevant, and will in turn will allow us to offer our customers an enhanced overall experience of our products and service.”
