C-Fiber 780 High Power and ELMO 780

Menlo Systems’ refurbished C-Fiber 780 High Power erbium-doped femtosecond fibre laser now offers increased output powers at 780nm and 1,560nm. The output power ratio is freely adjustable.

The Vario option for the choice of pulse repetition rate boosts the pulse energy to up to 3nJ at 780nm, with a pulse duration down to 60fs. With the SYNC option the laser can be synchronised to any other chosen repetition rate signal. Menlo Systems’ own figure 9 design results in high optical performance and excellent long-term stability and low noise operation.

The C-Fiber 780 High Power is characterised by an outstandingly low timing jitter on the attosecond level. Its reliability and premium output parameters make it suitable for applications in multiphoton excitation, seeding of amplifiers, terahertz generation and 3D micro printing.

Additionally, with its new Elmo 780 High Power model Menlo has doubled the optical output power of its 780nm femtosecond lasers with a handheld frequency doubling module to >140mW. The new system also offers up to 2nJ pulse energy and well below 100fs pulse width.

Again using Menlo’s figure 9 mode locking technology, the Elmo platform combines high flexibility with excellent stability and low-noise operation. The modular design of the Elmo 780 High Power, comprising oscillator, amplifier, and SHG (second harmonic generation) subunits, enables versatile system configuration. The laser is ideally suited for applications such as terahertz generation and multiphoton excitation.
