Cobolt, a Swedish manufacturer of high performance lasers, has integrated its sales activities into the photonics division of the Hübner Group as of 1 July 2016.
In December 2015, the Hübner Group, headquartered in Kassel, Germany, acquired Cobolt. Cobolt’s long-standing partner for sales in Germany, Dag von Gegerfelt, will now head the sales activities of Cobolt’s lasers and its tunable laser light source, C-Wave, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This move will strengthen Hübner’s current sales force within its photonics division, focusing on servicing both Cobolt’s customers and Hübner’s customers.
